This is a blog for our family and friends.

Ok, I thought I'd have more people's funny guesses, but I guess it was too much like a homework assignment, eh? Here is the same blog in English...but it really isn't nearly as cool sounding! BTW...I can't really take credit for this, because although I can easily translate this into English, Jessica was actually the one who wrote this! : ( I'm getting there piano, piano, piano....for you English speakers that is slowly, slowly, slowly.

Hi Everybody! These are the plates that we bought at the market. We love them! The bigger fish is Luigge and the other is Simone (sorry I don't have the correct keyboard.) [for the accent mark] Ahh...they are beautiful! We love these plates!
And here is Paul, he is beautiful always!

ps-We went back and read this blog just one week later and Jessica picked out several mistakes that she had made in grammer. So it just demonstrates her progress in one week's time! She has her oral exam tomorrow! Everybody pray for her. She was talking in her sleep in Italian tonight. Peter and Nicole are done and got their report cards, and they were actually quite good! I was plesantly surprised! They are both moving on to the next grade! Bravi! -Em, you don't need me to translate that do you? ; )

Ok, I was going to take a stab at it but didn't in time. I guessed almost everything right (it helps to have a picture to put it in a context to guess accurately within!) However, I couldn't at all guess what Jessica's comment in the parentheses was. Now I know. HEY, how about making us a VIDEO of you guys speaking Italian??! I would love to hear everyone!

Wait a minute! I just took a closer look at your pasta. Is that mac 'n cheese on those beautiful piatti? Are you allowed to eat a blasphemous thing like mac 'n cheese in Italy!!!??

Ha ha ha! You've discovered our terrible secret! It's Peter's favorite thing to fix for dinner, and he was babysitting while we were shopping. I know, the piatti will never be the same again!

Peter! I'm gasping in shock at this revelation! By the time I come over to visit you in Italy, I expect you to know how to whip me up a really fantastic local dish (that does not contain powdered cheese!!) :) What are you going to learn how to make me??

It's sunday and we finally got our internet up yesterday. I was happy to see a new post on your blog! I was able to figure out some of what you wrote in Italian. I leaned on my background of spanish and italian arias;) Can't wait to skype you!
